The 33-year-old actor gets behind the camera to direct the biopic about Sal Mineo (Rebel Without a Cause) one the first actors to come out. The films stars Val Lauren a star of Indie films but mainly known for his tv roles. Franco will also be working on a number of other films as well such as As I Lay Dying, Blood Meridian and The Night Stalker.
