"Stereotypes are bullshit"

I am such a sucker for reality TV, anything from The Hills to Jersey Shore, so why did I think a new season of The Real World be any different? I watched the first episode, well...because there was nothing else on that night. Now I'm pretty intent on watching every episode. I fee like Michael Corleone; "Just when I thought I was out... they pull me BACK IN!" What is interesting about this cast is Mike Manning. Mike is well built, smart and such a sweetie. He is as American as apple pie, and you can tell just by looking at him that he is perfect. But Mike will be the first to tell you looks can be deceiving and not something you should judge someone by. This bisexual male (although he doesn't prefer any kind of title) teaches us all a great lesson, which is to be who you want to be and that things cannot always be separated into such simple categories. Great article where mike comments about god, growing up and life without classifications!
